John Lewis - D&AD

The brief was set by D&AD to reinvent John Lewis delivery packaging. John Lewis wanted something that was engaging to the consumer with a personal touch.
 This box is a gift from John Lewis to the consumer, this is shown by the design style of the packaging, i.e cube shaped with a John Lewis green ribbon. Along with the physical shape of the packaging, each package will have a quote from either a customer of John Lewis or a member of staff. This empahasis the community of John Lewis and also demonstrates the partnership within the company. 
We decided to keep the package recognisble to the public by keeping to their brand guidelines, colour scheme and typeface. 

To keep the packagine environmently friendly our design encourages people to keep the box for future use. This is done by styling the box to a high standard and making the box attractive. The packaging can either be re-used as an actual bag, due to the ribbons being made into handles, or the box can be kept for in-door useage.
