Contrary to popular belief, Tribute in Light has always been funded by private donations andgrant money. Over the last ten years these funds have kept the memorialshining, but they have now been exhausted. “OneTeam for the Lights,” in co-operationwith Sports Media 101 and TheMunicipal Art Society of New York, has launched a major fundraising effort to guarantee that this preciousmemorial remains shining for America.

At “A Giants Sunday”, an event hosted by New York Giants Cornerback Brian Witherspoon, Sports Media 101 unveiled “One Team forthe Lights”. Brian Witherspoon showed his support for the “OneTeam for the Lights” initiative. He is quoted as saying, “Definitely… 9/11touched everybody. The way I see it, if donations aren’t given to One Team forthe Lights, I would be disappointed.”

Pieter Van Iperen and DanBenton, founders of Sports Media 101 and life-long residents of New York / NewJersey, created “One Team for the Lights” because “Tribute in Light is the only memorial that can touch allof us at the same time. It is a collective way for our area and America toheal. It is both a memorial to those who have fallen and a luminary of ourfuture and our pride in our nation and its history of heroism.”

Please join the team and keep Tribute in Light shining. All donations are appreciated. 100% ofeach tax-deductible donation made through“One Team for the Lights” goesdirectly to The Municipal Art Society of New York's Tribute in Light. www.sportsmedia101.com/OneTeam/donate.
