The text repetedly states "I didn't want to make a big deal." The overall shape symbolizes a breast, the ultimate form of sacrificing one's self to nurture another.  It was inspired by Woman House a feminist art installation and performance space organized by Judy Chicago and Miriam Schapiro in 1972. This rug appeared in Cane Fest 2011 where viewers were allowed to walk on the piece to enhance the message that if I want to be treated like a floor mat, then let people walk all over me.
