Conservation of Electricity

Conservation of Electricity is a hypothetical Promotion Design project.

The tagline of the campaign "Badhao Ungli, Bachao Bijli" revolves around the concept that each finger has an important role to play in saving electricity. Each of them has a bigger role to play other than their stereotypical roles.

The campaigns urges the audience to simply extend any finger of their's and effortlessly save electricity by switching off electricals when not in use.
In the long run, it can also help in saving the limited power resources.

The audience targeted here are mostly generic urban citizens from the age of 13 onwards.
School children are included in this category as they are at an impressionable age and have easy access to electrical switches. The issues highlighted here also pertain to them and ensure a good foundation for a brighter future.

The adults, including college going students are the one's who reside and work in cities and towns which use up immense amount of electricty. Especially, due to the lifestyle that they lead and the equipments they use. It is important for them to be aware of it's value. They are also educated and literate enough to be able to associate with the text.

The range of audience is vast and generic format of the campaign would help to spread the message through various age groups and sections of people.

The voice has a subtle warning tone to it, as well as, a senstive aspect. This is with respect to the current situation of cause, where one knows that the situation is senstive and grave but we still haven't reached the saturation point yet.

The design of the campaign involves photography and not illustrations as photographs give a realistic feel to the matter and help the audience to connect with them instantly. Illustrations might not be quickly relatable or impactful enough.

The campaign spans across various corners of the country and would hypothetically span over 6 weeks through various mediums and portals.
