Labels RAD and POLON (Radium and Polonium in Polish) were designed for Atomic Bicycles – an art instalation consisting of two custom stationary bicycles, designed by Centrala Designers Task Force on the occasion of 100th anniversary of Noble Prize for Maria Skłodowska-Curie (Polish discoverer of Radium and Polonium elements).
For the art instalation two bicycle frames were used, speed frame (for POLON) and city frame (for RAD), what was emphasized by apropriate styling, coloring and custom lettering. Numbers by the words (84 and 88) are the atomic numbers of the elements.
