Many clever minds have thought about future technology. The development is advancing rapidly and can be difficult to predict, particularly with regard to the impact this technical advancement will have on society and the individual both in a negative and positive sense.

 

»The Internet is Just Hype« is an interactive installation which presents quotations on the future of technology. The collected quotations, which have been found to be amusing miscalculations or whose outcome is still open, are mixed with the expectations of the exhibition visitors, who submit their own predictions. This creates a multifarious, and sometimes bizarre, interactive mix of outdated projections, realistic estimations but also predictions bordering on science fiction.
