BBW#9: Tattoos on Animals

This project presents illustrations of tattooed animals. The theme was inspired by artists such as Andy Feehan and Wim Delvoye who tattooed skins of live pigs and bald dogs, giving them the status of an artwork, in order to be considered luxury pets that does not deserve to be treated cruelly or consumed. Without being so provocative, seven artists were invited to provide visuals on the theme.

Technical details: format 150mm x 210mm – 44 pages – color & b/w digital print on 160 gr 100% recycled paper – sewn bound – 2 colours silckscreen cover on 300 gr paper – 50 copies – printed in Sofia and Brussels
