I was asked by a retail centre to create an identity through illustration of hero character and background/characters for it's kids club. This hero character already existed and I was asked to bring him into present day with a re-designed look to his original design through my re-interpretation of the style. So essentially the character concept remained the same but the style of the illustration was entirely new. The background is new concept as an environment/background for the hero character and supportive for the fun factor of the Playland website and in print. The website is where these characters and background come to life through animation and flash game design.
