In 2010, Alberta's Royal Tyrrell Museum celebrated its 25th anniversary and marked the event with a special exhibit called "Alberta Unearthed - Twenty-five Stories of Discovery". Unlike previous exhibits that focused on the creatures preserved as fossils, this exhibit would provide visitors with a glimpse into the life and history of the Museum. Through the stories of twenty-five of the Museum's most significant specimen, visitors were introduced to the people and adventures that made the discovery, recovery, and preservation of these fossils possible.

 

5 years later the exhibit has closed and a new one will replace it, but working on the branding and design of this exhibit remains a high point of my time with the Royal Tyrrell Museum.
