The 50m explorer yacht concept REACH is geared to the classical appearance of a trawler with
abaft superstructure and a generous open foredeck. The purpose of the design process was it
to use the good characteristics in seaworthiness of such a working vessel and to give it a cutting
edge exterior styling. Our design principles “ambience, delight and style” are embodied in
the yacht concept. The function of the yacht shall be underlined by these characteristics to produce
an exciting product. Masculine lines and sharp edges define plane surfaces which act as
a leitmotif throughout the design process. Strong and protruding shoulders form the basis of an
angular superstructure which demonstrates strength and durability – vital characteristics for
adventure. The dynamic stern of the yacht underlines the ambition of moving forward to either
reach the most remote places on earth or the most beautiful yacht marinas.

deck spaces have been created which let open space to breathe and move. Sunny and
shaded areas have been generated in similar proportions to provide diversified places. The
owner and guests may relax next to the spa-pool on the foredeck or enjoy the easy-going life
on the sundeck next to the Jacuzzi bar. The glass guard rails and the crow’s nest guaranty uninterrupted
view to the marvels of nature.

and its guests. The dining room is framed by room high glass sliding doors. When opened the
inside and outside is connected in a unique way. Large sliding doors connect this exclusive
area to the private pantry and the lobby. From here every other area on board the vessel can
easily be reached. A spacious lounge was created abaft which may be converted into a cinema
in a short time. The owners have a full deck that is fully dedicated to them and which provides
spaces for living and working. The guests are accommodated in twin and double cabins on the
lower deck with large windows. They have direct access to the beach club and the spa area.
The beach club bathes in a brilliant atmosphere of light reflexes which are painted by the sun
that shines thru the glass pool bottom above. The layout of the yacht enables the crew to carry
out all the work that needs to be done on long voyages aside the owners and guests and to
their full satisfaction. Two tenders, diving equipment and various toys are being stored by the
crew in the tender garage in the yachts stern.
