During the XIXth and the XXth century, North of France and Wallonie were very rich regions thanks to their powerful industries. But in the last decades of the XXth century, economical crisis and globalization put an end to the activity. Since then, the gigantic buildings are left unattended.
I used an old "Agfa isoly" found in a flea market for this serie, I love how the granularity of the maltreated film and the distortion of the cheap plastic lens blend with the ambience of these places.
