This double page map was published on the 28th of april on the prestigious Le Monde.
North of France is an area with a huge number of museums and cultural centers.
The map works as a sketchbook, with comments and notes over the illustration from the author of the article, the journalist Laurence Carpentier.
Tha many icons, texts and illustrations I've done before adding to the map. I usually do them separately, in many versions, so then I choose the best one to put over the map.
My favorite one is the genious Matisse, sketching with the stick.
