We entered the Yala National Park by 5.30 am one day in May 2015 and immediately heard there was a leopard sighting and managed to get to that spot quite fast. Whilst morning was breaking, we say the moods of this beautiful leopard. We stayed and watched him for a good two hours. Then came back towards mid morning to find him at the same place and watched him for about an hour more. 

 

It was an absolute pleasure to sit and watch his moves despite the twenty jeeps full of people surrounding him. We realised that although it is lovely to be able to take some photographs of him, it is even more beatiful to watch this majestic, elusive cat and his lazy moods.
