The portfolio was made with hard board instead of wood. I intend to make one with wood in the near future but decided to go with hard board and experiment a little bit. After cutting the board to size and designing the logo, which will be uploaded in my branding section soon, a cover was designed the printed reverse. The wet paper technique will be use to place the logo on the board. A sponge/wet piece of cloth and tape will be used.
After pressing, a lot of pressing, a sponge/wet piece of cloth on the paper to make the logo apprear on the board, I tried to trace the design using a wood burner. The result was not what I wanted so I used some markers to redesign the covers on the boards
For the construction of the portfolio itself, I used linen hanging tape to add the inside flaps to the covers. Holes were drilled and Chicago Screw were put in both flaps to finish the portfolio. And here is the finish product.
