Inspired by Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, Monolith represents enlightenment. Milled wooden blocks containing three LED lights are concealed within the slabs of concrete, which instantly turn on and lock into place when revealed. Monolith casts ample reading light, and when placed on the bookshelf, softly illuminates your collection for ambient lighting.
