I invite kids to draw upon their imagination and experiences
to create art that reflects their rich inner worlds. I encourage students to learn by doing, and to experiment with a variety of materials and strategies as they create images that engage with the world around them. My goal when working with students is for them to experience joyfulness, play, and their own self-efficacy. This process supports the development of self-awareness, self-management skills, social awareness and relationship skills.
