Logo I designed for entry in the N.C. State Fair Design Contest. I used the color scheme of red, white, and blue to tie together the individual characteristics I wanted to exploit from the fair while still keeping them seperated and adding depth to the images. I chose to use animals and a country singer because I felt it best represented North Carolina as a whole, with its focus on agriculture and southern music. The ferris wheel's unique angle brought attention to it, being the main focus of the design, and emphasized the rides that attract many people to the State Fair each year.
