Shropshire Council is one of the largest Unitary authorities in the UK whose challenge is to meet its diverse population in both needs and geography. Providing well over 500 different services the problem it faces in delivering digital services are based around an immense information architecture and design challenge. 

 

By identifying the top tasks associated with the majority of our public consumers we were able to produce a simplistic template which lead service users to what was most commonly requested.

 

The design constantly evolved as we gathered more metrics on how our customers used the site. With the consisten focus always on maintaining simple, and easy to understand content and usability.
