Scannerography experiment for Betaville poster

Betaville is contemporary electronic and acoustic music project performed on such instruments as electronics, tapes, drums and percussion.
When making poster for the concert, I decided to make it with the same approach – part man, part machine generated.

Poster image was made by moving paper with series of short marks along with the moving scanning module when scanning. Scanning module when moving was recording these marks as a series of lines as they were all the time above it. In places when the marks were moved sideways, line is split into three thinner ones – these are Cyan, Magenta and Yellow channels of recorded image (see image below).
Later I changed all lines from single scan to one color. Two images were recorded in such way, then composited into one, causing interesting interference.

Below You can listen to the music performed at this very concert.
