I recently participated in a MASSIVE collaborative (unofficial) Star Wars project, of which this was my story: Old Wounds, which tells a small back story about popular bounty hunter Embo and the biggest mission of his life. I used a whole pile of different colouring methods for this piece, mixing more graphic imagery with traditional colouring, as well as adding hatched texture and colours, rather than the typical cel or digital painting techniques.
All pages were scamped in pencil first, based on Joe Hogan's (the project's founder) fantastic script, then upsacled onto Blue Line Pro paper, inked, painted and then repencilled for texture. Finally it was scanned and then coloured.
