Udupi Chess Association - Website Design
Udupi Chess association has been promoting the game of chess in and around Udupi, India since the year 2006. This is the new website designed to show the latest events, news and results and create the online presence of the organization

Type Selection
Fonts used in this project were free fonts from Google Fonts library. We decided to go with a serif font for headers and titles and Rufina seemed a perfect fit. For body copy we went with something a bit more modern and square inspired from squareness of “Rook” and “Chess Boards' Tiles”. Choosing the type for date was important to give significance and distinction to it which would appear in news, events and results page. Again something modern and distinct we found in the type of “Dosis”.

Unique Captcha
Contact form captcha was designed inspired from chess pieces . Person would have to select the correct piece to send the message.
