Craft Means Business

How can the true value of craft be communicated?
 
My solution aims to communicate the economic value of craft, challenging the perception that craft doesn't make financial sense. Through extracting key figures from the Crafts Council 'Future in Making' manifesto an presenting them in a large format, I made them the hero of the outcome, forcing the reader to take notice.

The figures speak for themselves; Craft Means Business.
 
 
The publication is A3 and would act as an invitation to a series of events hosted by the Crafts Council which will discuss the importance of craft in today's world. The publication would be sent to key influencers working in business, finance, economy and education, promoting craft to those who may not understand it's true value.
A series of posters would also be used to promote the events using the same visual language as the publication. The contrast between the large, bold numbers and the small, delicate type adds drama to the communication.
