General Election studio shows off 150x IP streams via bespoke IP stream delivery, 4K monitoring and switching infrastructure in tandem with UHD wall.
All 150 streams were routed to Sky News HD at Osterley over IP. Each stream was sent to Google cloud servers to be streamed live to YouTube and simultaneously proxies were sent to Sky’s News Operations Control (NOC) room in Studio B.
All IP streams were displayed on 14x 4K monitors via bespoke in-house build 4K monitoring and switching infrastructure and simultaneously at the UHD newswall were all streams were shown at the same time and updated in realtime with the latest results.
