This was my very first fan art of Owl City. It was in 2012 when I did this and I just doodled all the way all the songs that I can fit into this little piece of paper. The quality of my skills is not that good but it was very fun making this. I think I have used 35 songs for this piece and you just have to guess what songs are in this doodle I made.
It's 2015 and I think it is nice to re-make my old doodle fan art for my favorite singer/one man band. It is the perfect time to make it because he visited the Philippines last May 8 for a free concert and I've gone hyper because of the excitement. Below is the process of how I re-make this fan art.
I sketch all the things I  imagine when I hear all the songs of Owl City.
After sketching I started to work on the outline using unipin 0.1.

Detalling with the use of 0.05 unipin
Almost there. My hands are already feeling worn out.
Just a little bit of details
Using some black markers and white acrylic paint  I am pulling this silhouette/ galaxy look. I have some explanations why I did this
After of hours of working on this piece it is finished.
I scanned it, cleaned some smugdes and also adjusted the brightness and levels.
Final output of my artwork.
There are almost 18 songs I used as reference for this artwork and 3 aliases that Adam Young used. All of his songs greatly affected my artistic journey and it helped me to be what I am today. If I have to explain my artwork that would be not enjoyable but I am going to break all the bits into all of you.
The silhouette symbolizes us, the humans. We are all flawed, not born with perfection, and we can be really lonely sometimes. But that is the sad truth about us. What we don't know that every one of us is a part of the universe. In fact we hold the universe in ourselves we just don't know it yet but it is. We are not born with perfection but we can make every moment of our lives perfect. We can be lonely sometimes but it is where we really could find ourselves. We are all flawed but we have the power to bring out the beauty in every ugliness and makes our lights shine to its brightest amidst the  darkest of night. We are humans flawed, not born with perfection, and can be really lonely sometimes but we are all dreamers and dreams never die. All of that is what makes us human.
