The student is required to construct a personal brand strategy for a portfolio of work where the purpose is to persuade the target audience of the merit of the student as a professional/ skilled/ highly creative graphic designer. Its aim is to be imapctful, useful, unique and communicate necessary information to a specific target group in a persuasive and professional manner.
 
A portfolio is a portable proof of design education and a document of work. A display of exercises, talent, thinking and solutions to visual communication problems.
A visual strategy of the portfolio process is self-promotion. The student is thus required to create and define their personal style of design and identity that is authentically a reflection of them.
