Samyutha wanted an elegant yet fun wedding invitation for her dream wedding by the beach.
I was inspired by the weddign location and her incredibly warm and sunny personality.

I decided to create a theme with swaying palm trees, exotic florals and a parrot motif.
The cover has the bride and groom against a backdrop of sun, sand and beautifully serene and silver foiled waves with names embossed in gold. This opens up to reveal the reception details with the same beach setting at dusk (midnight blue) under a starry sky and fuschia pink lotuses (that were both foiled). Two colour inserts enclosed in the flap for close friends & family in shades of turmeric and teal contained details of Muhurtham & Sangeet respectively. Fun motifs drawn up for each of the events were highlighted in gold.

For the enevelope I planned an intricately designed circular pattern of parrots, sea shells and lamps that was laser cut to reveal the clear sky blue of the inner card.
This is probably the most fun I've had with an invitation design and it turned out fabulously in execution as well!
