Many designers have a passion for typography; it is what makes us who we are as designers and becomes part of our identity as artists. This hypothetical conference encourages designers to “Breathe, Bleed, Be: Typography.”
These ideas are expressed through illustrations of anatomy such as bones and blood to represent the physical embodiment of typography and the identity it provides as a designer. This is combined with letterforms using different digital and hand-drawn typefaces as a way of expressing the various styles of typography that we can embrace as designers and typographers. The conference campaign includes posters, banners, a brochure and a takeaway notebook; each embodying the Bleed, breathe, be: typography brand.
