We were approached by our friends at TBWA/CHIAT/DAY to direct two spots for Gatorade that would take us on an action packed journey across Europe shooting some of the world’s biggest football stars including Leo Messi, Andrea Pirlo, Mesut Özil and Phil Coutinho.
Teaming up with our friends at Blacklist, we put together a dream team of over 200 talented individuals, including Oscar nominated cinematographer Barry Ackroyd (The Hurt Locker, Captain Phillips) and legendary sports choreographer Andy Ansah (Nike Winner Stays, Sainsbury’s Christmas 2014 ad). The spot launched simultaneously across four continents in May 2015.
