The third edition of IGNITE! Festival of Contemporary Dance brought together 80 artists from over 10 countries from 11-18 January 2015 in New Delhi. The festival programme included a 3 day conference, performances, masterclasses and workshops, film screenings and informal conversations over drinks and food. 

 

Being the only festival of dance in India which focuses on presenting work that is Indian in its context and content, the festival has been able to create a space where critical dialogue is celebrated. Developments in dance that find their roots in the cultural and historical context of the country are brought to a large number of audiences from across the globe.
