Redesign "Hurufontipografi" Launching Poster
The brief on this project was to create a new redesign poster by "imitating" a famous poster. We were asked to find a reference and imitate the reference. Why? The idea behind it same as when you learn to make a music composition. At first you play or create modification from a famous song, and then you'll create your own composition. So at that time we're learning from imitating.
Previous "Hurufontipografi" poster design:
1. I took this reference from book in my campus library (so sorry i forgot the book title :( i just took this picture by my phone camera at that time.)
2. Wim Crouwel Hiroshima Poster 1957
3. Wim Crouwel Muziek Concours 82
4. I created based on Davis Carson Poster, but i forget which poster I imittated.
Final Poster Redesign. This Poster was also participated on Typography Exhibiton (R Studio, Binus Syahdan, 2011), and Plasa Design Exhibiton (Gallery 678, Kemang Selatan)
Quotes Poster
This poster was inspired by Marian Bantjes's style. I tried to recreated the background as the resembles of vincent van gogh face from font elements (line, dots, charater, etc).
