Ngee Ann Poly / Ideawerkz 2011

Established in 2010, Ideawerkz was initiated with the intention to promote an innovative mindset amongst students.

Ideawerkz makes available the usage of multiple resources and facilities to NP staff and full-time students. Resources, including audio-visual equipment, an idea resource library, innovation-centric board games and a place for students to hold meetings or brainstorming sessions, are available for usage.

The Ideawerkz Innovation Fund (IIF) is a seed funding that provides students the opportunity to try out an idea with up to $2,000 funding. It is open to all full-time NP students.

Through the IIF, Ideawerkz would be able to link up applicants with friendly staff mentors, who are experts in the respective innovation’s field of scope. Mentors would be on-hand to provide advice to aid applicants' innovation development, source for partners or industry links, and even help to commercialise their innovation.
