Ad Workshop - TV Man

Television has come a long way since it's inception. Beginning as a broadcast medium for video information, it evolved roles of the educator, the entertainer, the 'idiot box'. But what role has it evolved into now? This film aims to explore the darker side of Television as it is today.

This was an advertisement made as a part of an Advertisement Workshop, conducted by Shwetabh Verma in Semester 5, at National Institute of Design. The idea was to create an ad film showcasing the  TV itself, where the protagonist is TV-Man. The class was divided into groups and required to make an advertisement according to their own interpretation and ideas of TV as it is today. The film was made as a group exercise, with everyone involved in the collective roles of idea-ting, writing, production and direction.
