Voltaire (typeface)
Voltaire is a display font based on illustrations found in an eighteenth-century physics book by the eponymous author.
The letters in the original book are written with a pointed pen following the principles of broad pen writing, then etched in metal, which is rather unusual in itself. Voltaire adopts a slightly squared outline, rectangular strokes and characteristic serifs.
Voltaire is made at Artem Gorbunov Design Bureau.
