This is a school project were we had to make a book cover and two inside illustrations for Frida Kahlos illustrated journal.

The colors are typical Mexican colors, to make the wibe of her life. Not to interfeer with her illustrations I fokused on the story and not on the art. That made it easier to get my style in to the project.  I made Diego in blue becaus of the blue house they lived in, and becaus that no matter what, he was her home.

The technique is pencil sketch, worked out in photoshop.
