These questions led to a study of language and how it shapes the cultural understanding of topics, in this case, love.
This work-in-progress woven tapesty is a visual and tactile representation of relationships, described by those willing to tell me their own stories. The tapestry creates a new dialogue, a new visual language, and expands our understanding of what is means to communicate emotionally with one another.
