I was hired by the Metrobon owners to develop 2 concepts for a hair and sugaring salon. This was the second concept. The style was to be based on World Music and an Adventuring experience. Following through this line of thought was done with materials, shape, textures and color. The owners had things come up before they could go through to the construction document phase.
All materials are natural: wood, stained concrete flooring, wool, silk, metal, etc. All fabrics shown are from different cultures around the world.
The model runway and display platform were both available to the models from the upper floor. Since the salon was going to have fashion. accessories and hair shows, the owner's requested that I incorporate a way to have the display area convert to a runway for special events.
