We decided on the notion of genetic manipulation and the issues which can arise from it, more specifically, the issues with designer babies. We decided to base all of our designs on a fictional genetics corporation set in a dark future where a third of the world’s population has been genetically modified. This corporation goes by the name of Neugenesis. “Neu” being short for neurones, whilst “genesis” is the origin of form. In other words, our corporation’s name fuses the notions of both mind and body, essentially the two elements which make us human.

 

We created a brochure, a propoganda newspaper, an infographic and a timeline of events which all got exhibited at the end of year exhibition. The overal brand looked beliveable and nicely put together in the end.
