Description: Parisian-based Pernod Ricard, a high end international liquor distributor, is looking to compete against the #1 distributor to America, Diageo, in the rapidly expanding niche market of sacramental wine.
 
The intended consumer is religious institutions and clergy, so the Holy Spirits logo should avoid irreverence, although a touch of wit may help sell the concept. The client is leaning toward a typography based solution, but is open to the inclusion of a logo mark, as long as it subtly compliments the name.
 
Market research has suggested that gold, burgundy and white have received positive feedback while silver, orange and deep purple have had the least impact. In addition, the final logo will need to be embroidered or printed as a pocket design for sales reps, so simplicity and clarity are key.
