This proyect consisted in the development of a lamp that demostrate Chilean identity, through an innovative design, give value to copper, with thepurpose of representing us national and internationally. This product should bebuilt without assembly in order to occupy the smallest possible volume to be exported.

This involved studying the user, the market and experience with copper:its strength, malleability,completions, finishing and light properties.
On the other hand it should be distinguished from the craft through theuse of industrial machinery that would standardize the process through theserial manufacturing of the product.

El proyectoconsistió en confeccionar una lámpara que demostrase identidad chilena,mediante un innovador diseño, otorgarle valor al cobre, con el fin derepresentarnos nacional e internacionalmente, para esto el producto debía serconstruido sin ensamblaje con el objetivo de que ocupase el menor volumenposible al ser exportado.

Esto implicóestudiar al usuario, el mercado y experimentar con el cobre; su resistencia,maleabilidad, terminaciones, acabados y propiedades lumínicas.
Por otra partedebía diferenciarse de la artesanía a través del uso de maquinaria industrialque permitiera estandarizar el proceso por medio de la fabricación seriada delproducto.
