Initially I was creating this for the Advanced Photoshop Cover contest 2014 but due to circumstances I was not able to finish it in time. The goal was to create a tutorial that was not too difficult, so the magazine readers can recreate it themselves.
As for post-production most time went into thinking what colors to use in the color grading (so many options...sighs) shaping water and painting of the eye.
