This is my personal project – some illustrations and the cover for the Belarusian folk tale "Iz roga vsego mnogo". I was inspired by belarusian culture, folklore, costumes, foods, mode of life and history. I decided to create something in a new way...
Rumpled torn paper is an ideal method for me to transfer the atmosphere of old times, fabulousness and childish perception as well. I like this folk tale because it is about relationships between rich and poor people, good and evil. Human values are above all.

All these heroes are hand-made from paper. I believe that thanks to this tactile process I energize and animate my paper characters which have their living souls.
