I chose to do an annual report on the Vans Company.  I was excited to design this report for this certain company, because I enjoy their products and events. When creating the cover, I wanted to incorporate the shoelace to help with the connection of the actual shoe and how they are usually laced. When choosing the color scheme, I chose colors that are incorporated in the brand. I used Avenir Next for the body copy, and for the headings I used Impact. I chose Impact because it was similar to the brands logo. and the horizontal bars as well.  Throughout the book I incorporated my own images to give the book a personal feel.
