Links + Loops is a packaged magnet set and learning space that introduces the user to the twelve calligraphic strokes needed to make any lowercase Chancery letter. Each of these individual strokes is in the form of a color coded magnet with a baseline lock up point, nib angle, and pen direction visually shown. Each magnet type has a slot in the box for them to store and stay organized. The cover of the box folds out into a magnetic learning zone. The metal sheet has a baseline etched into it that all the magnets lock up on. The kit also comes with an instruction sheet that shows all the letters composed of the color coded magnet pieces. The system allows both designer and non-designer to discover letterforms through play while learning the importance of nib angle, baseline, and pen direction.
