This book was one of my final year projects, a book all about the censorship of offensive language in printed media, which has a long and interesting history. As well as showing the history, reasons and analyses of it, the effect of censoring literature is demonstrated throughout by actively censoring the book. To read it, you need to get it out of a wire mesh sleeve which cuts because of the mini barbed wire on top. Some pages are glued together, covered with ink, or literally covered up by images of world leaders who censor.
There is also a miniature book within this that talks about specific examples of books that were censored, such as Farenheit 451, and a part where different methods of censoring are shown through example, using a section from A Clockwork Orange. A fake news page printed on news print looks at the censorship in newspapers.
