Watchmen
In Watchmen, the writer and scriptwriter Alan Moore portrays, criticise and analise with no mercy the occidental society of the eighties and a political-social system in decline through an alternative reality in which the americans have won the Vietnam War.
Moore makes a deconstructive procedure of the superheroe, getting him rid of his myths and clichés, giving him very human qualities and, in many cases, negatives. This way, he creates a dense and complex scheme in which can be dealed matters like the debate between absolutism, consequentialism and moral relativism among others, through a choral work that becomes Watchmen into a unprecedented comic who allowed the graphic novel to be recognised as an art with own rights.
The bloodstained “smiley” is a recurrent image along the plot of Watchmen, a symbol that, easily and efecctivly, reflects the moral burden of the movie.

Big Hero 6
Oscar winner for best animated film in 2015, Big Hero 6 highlights with outstanding in all aspects: a visual level (with the new Hyperion engine allows rendering complex 3D elements), character design (both in artistic and psychological level combining the esthetic of Disney with the complexity of the Marvel characters), animation (with a fully interactive and changing world, characters with smooth, precise and very elaborate movements...), innovative sets (the story takes place in San Fransokyo, creative mix between San Francisco and Tokyo), revolutionary evolution of the archetypal characters of Disney and its manual argument... until we find a subtle but visible clash between the new and innovative way to tell the stories of Disney and the blockbuster ingredients brand Marvel that, although they are perfectly integrated into the plot line, divert the argument of a narrative that was acquiring a genuine essence, remaining with small glimpses along the adventure and only recognizable again in the outcome of the film.
Adventure Time
Pendleton Ward created in 2006 a shortfilm which will derive in the award-winning animated series Adventure Time, which chronicles the adventures of Finn (a boy of 12 years) and Jake (a magical dog that can change shape at will) in the world of Ooo, a post-apocalyptic environment packed endearing and quirky characters who share surreal situations surrounded by an atmosphere of absurd humor.
And that is that, behind those garish colours and its attractive, simple, but in turn achieved animation, the writers are able to incorporate lots of information in a subtle way, avoiding censorship filters of Cartoon Network, and making that the situation most innocent of every episode acquires a double meaning much more adult, becoming Adventure Time in a serie of worship for teens and adults worldwide.

Inside Out
Oscar winner for best animated film in 2016, Inside Out revives the industry of animation using a script carefully elaborated which, from a very simple idea, manages to treat very deep issues through an endless combination of successful situations, in which the coherence is maintained until the viewer catharsis, that surprise after surprise, can´t help bring out his own emotions. All this accompanied by a dazzling visual sense reinforced with impeccable animation that is constantly evolving to keep pace with the story, surprising us in many cases with visual gags that add notes of humor to the drama on which turns the film, in others with purely creative moments that make this latest Pixar film the culmination of know-how that have led their films for so many years.
