Starting with typographic elements designed in Illustrator, these were extruded as blocks that together formed the word Joker. Each letter, growing and unfolding into position, was identified by smaller type elements, animated to resemble panels being flipped — this to mimic the characteristics of a game such as Wheel of Fortune or Scrabble, where more is revealed as you go. 

Other variations were blocks of letters tumbling, meant to resemble falling dice.

The project included initial style frames, followed by the design and animation of three separate identity spots.
