Precious and delicate, with a certain fragrance, color and feature, that must be taken care of so that its life and beauty will be longer preserved in time. A flower’s purpose consists on decorating and giving life to an ecstatic space full of inanimate objects.
Fade’s concept was born from the need to evidence the strong symbolism between a flower and time, constantly changes and appearing every day different from the previous one. A flux from its blooming to its eventual withering.
A flower, alive, must be decontextualized from its morphological aspects in order to be transformed into an artificial object, dead, that preserves its most symbolic characteristics and leads to a physical representation of the passage of time.
