Everytime I picked you up from work, this was the exact spot I stood while waiting for you,
and you would always tell me to take a stroll instead... but I was too stubborn to abide.
However, this time... I did... I took a really long walk.
We were young and poor back then and while everyone went on honeymoon at the Carribean or Europe,
we took a short trip to Canada instead. You didn't complain, whine or protest.
I am glad you were with me from the beginning till death do us apart.
This is Dave, he has been working for this bus company for nearly a decade and to him, it has been an extraordinary jouney. He've met people from all walks of life and it has been really inspiring and interesting to learn the cultures of others.
Dave told me that he was fined once... for riding at 35km/h. Oh hail Canada!
I took a walk down this lane where we used to share a bowl of Montreal's famous poutine
and you had me share a bowl with you because you said it is high in calories.
I know exactly what you're gonna say...
"They have a long way to go and growing old together isn't a piece of apple pie."
Darlin' are you free now?
I heaved a sigh of relief. It was the little things we did that I recalled vividly. Everyday, thank God for you.
