The Drinking Spider piece was inspired by my mom
and her exciting story about the orange juice carton...
Once upon a time there was an very nice old lady sitting
by the fireplace and there she must have been so thirsty.
However she was enjoying the warmth of the fireplace besides her
and the heat would dry out her mouth even more than it was already.
Beneath her feet rest on a stool she found an big old carton of delicious
orange juice thats been opened up for quite a while she knew...
but her thirsty dried out throat told her to grab it...
Now the opened corner of the carton touched her lips gently and
hasty she swallowed the first gulp...
Suddenly there was something on her tongue, she felt something
weired on in her throat...big, slimy, nasty, chunky...disgusting!

She spit it back in the carton tasting some moldy juicy orangy...uglyness!
Some big dead spider must have been in the carton she thought now
trying to make its way through her gullet into her belly......how gross....
Just listening to this story gave me the creeps and so the story about
my inspiration ends and the work began...
