Taibola is a Northern art festival that takes place on the White Sea since 2012 and combines culture (music, performance art, traditional crafts, workshops and so on) with voluntary activity, ideas of ecology and spectator participation. It is a non-commercial event that supports the DIY philosophy and healthy lifestyle, discouraging alcohol consumption and smoking. Last year around 5000 people from all around Russia visited the festival in three days, 200 of them being artists, craftsmen and performers of all kinds.
